Man Arrested After Calling 911 For Marijuana Growing Advice
Source
Well, at least he got an answer to his question. A Connecticut man who called 911 looking for legal advice on growing marijuana is now facing multiple drug charges.
Robert Michelson, 21, allegedly called Farmington Police Thursday night to ask "how much trouble he could get in" for growing one marijuana plant, police said, reports the Danbury News-Times.
The dispatcher advised Michelson that he could be arrested. Michelson then thanked the dispatcher and hung up.
Police then traced the call to an address on Waterville Road. Narcotics officers from Farmington went to the house and reportedly discovered that Michelson was -- surprise, surprise! -- growing marijuana.
Police claim Michelson admitted that he has spent "a lot of money online buying everything he needed to grow marijuana, including the seeds."
In the 911 tape released by the Farmington Police Department, Michelson is asked what his emergency is, and he replies, "Uh, let's not get into that yet." The situation quickly deteriorates as Michelson quickly learns he can indeed "get in trouble" for growing "just one marijuana plant."
"Well, I have a legal question," Michelson said. "Is it life threatening or an active crime in progress?" the dispatcher replied. "Crime in progress, possibly," the not-very-brilliant Michelson said.
After being asked "What's going on?" by the dispatcher, Michelson said, "I was just growing some marijuana and I was just wondering what, how much trouble you can get in for one plant."
But before he left the police station, Michelson gave a final goodbye to the dispatcher who "helped him out": two middle fingers, "presumably for doing such a good job," police said.

Occult Symbolism in the Denver Airport
One of my friends recently shared a theory that the occult runs the Denver International Airport.
"lolwut"
I'm sure most of you have heard the theory, but it was news to me. I normally don't buy into things of this nature, but I did my research because it was all interesting. I won't go into the details on this blog because I wouldn't be able to do it justice. The idea is so far fetched, I'm still not sure what I believe, but I will say that I'm impressed at the effort put into supporting this theory and also the evidence used to support it.
When you have a few minute, I highly recommend you check out this site for the nitty gritty..

I want to go on vacation to the Denver Airport now, though.... Have any of you heard of this before?

Super Bowl Week
6 more days until the Super Bowl. Who do readers think will win? Pittsburgh Steelers or the Green Bay Packers. I think the teams match up nicely, but I believe Pittsburgh's experience will allow them to pull another championship off..
The Motorola Xoom..
I'm really stoked about the upcoming Motorola Xoom. A wifi version is supposedly being released in April, so if you hold off until then you can get one with out having to pay the monthly Verizon fee. The extras and accessories look really slick. I predict it's going to be king of the tablets for about the next 9 months. I'm selling all of my old computers so I can have money for the April release.
